Well, that’s obvious. 😉

I stumbled across this video on the Good Vibrations Magazine and while I am no longer technically a “youth”, I was one not too long ago and like many of the young adults featured in this video, I had sex.

And, I went to Planned Parenthood.

As you may have heard, the House Voted on February — to cut 75 million from Planned Parenthood’s funding, despite a personal speech by Californian Republican Jackie Speier. Since then, I Stand With Planned Parenthood and other campaigns to bring awareness to the importance of sexual health and the continued funding of Planned Parenthood. Here’s the video, which made me smile. It’s so awesome to see even within the statements, others like “I don’t have sex, but I have periods,” “I use birth-control. And, “I don’t have sex, but I plan to.” It’s so brave to see those choices voiced.

I hope our society can get over sexual shame and be truthful about our sexual histories and honest about the importance of sex education and resources.
