A blog written by Jonah Lehrer “The Neuroscience of Porn” on ScienceBlogs.com poses the idea that we are aroused by watching porn because our brains believe that we are actually doing what we are seeing.

Today I found this post via a blog on Good Vibrations’ blog called “Why Porn Works“. The idea is fascinating and validates the vast different kinds of kink out there. When we relate to porn, and, when we don’t.

I love gay male porn, and I have a suspicion that I love it because it allows me to live vicariously through the talent — a social voyeurism if you will.
