Porn-paid Vision

I’m excited to announce that I went to my LASIK pre-consultation today and it’s confirmed — I’m approved as a healthy candidate for the operation. I’m getting LASIK done next month!

When I started this site in 2007, I had a Paypal account set up to receive donations to go towards my hopeful surgery. I dream of having better eyesight. Of not having to rely on an endless order of contact lenses or my old pair of glasses — no matter how cute those of you who have seen me wearing them think they are! Maybe I’ll get a pair of non-prescription, just for the fun of it. Imagine!

I’m really looking forward to having good vision. I want to visit home (Maui, Hawai`i) and surf with my dad and siblings without loosing a lens to the ocean. I look forward to opening my eyes under the water when I’m swimming — I love the being in water so much I want to open my eyes and see underwater! I’d love to be able to fall asleep in lovers’ arms without having to jump up to take off my contacts. I’d like to be out and about without having to pack a bottle of solution with me. For the last 20 years of my life I’ve felt tied to a constant order and supply of prescriptions and lens cases and solution cleaners and I just cannot wait to finally be free of these things.

I know the risks, and I understand perfect vision isn’t permanent. By my 50’s I’ll likely have to wear glasses to read. This isn’t uncommon for most of us. I’m thinking now that I wish I had went with this operation even earlier in my life. But I’m so happy to be able to afford to do it now.

The adult industry paid off my student loans and the porn world is taking care of my vision. Thank you so much, people who supported me through donations back in 2007, those of you who bought memberships, films, or sex toys through my site and brought me commissions from your purchases. Thank you to all the pornographers I worked with who paid me the money to put aside in savings. Thank you to friends who shared information with me, like Dallas from Babeland’s Blog and Mz Berlin who chatted with me over the phone one night and told me all about her experience with LASIK. I’m very ready.

March 17th is my operation and the week prior I’ll be only wearing glasses to prepare my eyes. I’ll post more about the experience that week.
WOW. I can’t believe it’s really happening!

now I’m kinda happy for you 😀

I guess people with 20/20 vision sometimes forget the annoyances that comes with not so perfect vision :/ .

    Jiz:

I have had to wear eyeglasses since I was a child and understand the
desire not to. If you change your mind you could still see underwater as they make prescription
swimming goggles. In any case I wish you the best results for your LASIK procedure.

I’ve been dreaming of LASIK for some time now. Wearing glasses is a drag. I get them all smudged when I’m trying to kiss and taking them off for other things is no fun. Yeah, I’m supposed to be adorable with them on, but I’m dead tired of it!
I look forward to hearing you gush about the new vision.
    Exciting!

I had it done 6 months ago after wearing glasses for the past 22 years of my year…and it’s amazing. You do miss out a little of your night vision but honey, it’s worth it. Keep some music or audiobooks nearby during the day of recovery… you’ll get super-bored with keeping your eyes shut. If you got any questions, you got my email. Best of luck!

So, tomorrow’s the big day. I’m sending you the most POSITIVE ENERGY ever! 😀

    Good Luck!
